मैं अखबार पढ़ रहा था .. किसी के पैदा होने की खुशी में मनाए जश्न का समाचार था .. आगे .. अखबार में एक लेख था .. कोशिश करने वाला और हल ढूंढने वाला मन चाहिये .. आगे कहीं नजर पड़ी तो देखा कि लिखा था .. अहकांर और फिर उसकी परिणति .. अखबार के पन्ने को फिर पलटा .. नजर पड़ी .. उस कालम पर .. जहां दिवंगत हुए लोगों की सूचना थी .. मैं अखबार पढ़ रहा था .. मैं सोच रहा था ..

कहीं पढ़ा था ..

मैंने कहीं पढ़ा था - वह व्यक्ति विश्व के सबसे शक्तिशाली व्यक्तियों में से हैं .. जिसके पास वो मन है जो परिस्थितियों से कभी हार नहीं मानता .. । जब मैंने इसे पढ़ा तो मुझे वो पंक्तियां भी याद आ गई .. जिसे मैंने कभी पढ़ा था - मन के हारे हार है .. मन के जीते जीत .. ।

बातें ..

एक - वह तो कपटी है .. अंदर से कुछ तो बाहर से कुछ और ..
दूसरा - क्या तुम्हे नारियल पसंद है ..
एक - हां .. बेहद .. लेकिन ये नारियल को बीच में क्यों ले आये .. क्या मेरी बात .. तुम्हें पसंद नहीं आई ..
दूसरा - बात मेरी पसंदगी या फिर नापसंदगी की नहीं है .. मैं तो यह कहना चाह रहा था कि, सभी कुछ प्राकृतिक है .. लोगों का व्यवहार भी .. शायद उसका व्यवहार भी जो बाहर से कुछ और तो अंदर से कुछ और .. कुछ-कुछ .. शायद नारियल की तरह .. । कोई फल किसी को पसंद है तो किसी और को कोई और फल .. ।
कोई दो थे .. बातें कर रहे थे .. मैं .. तीसरा .. भी वहीं था .. मैं सुन रहा था .. मैं सोच रहा था .. ।

प्रतिभा .. रचनात्मकता .. हुनर .. ये सभी छिपे होते हैं .. कभी किसी धर्म के पीछे .. तो कभी किसी संप्रदाय के पीछे .. तो कभी किसी मान्यता की दीवार के पीछे .. तो कभी आर्थिक संकट के बोझ के नीचे .. । यह कहना तो आसान है कि इन्हें निकलना चाहिये और उभारना चाहिये .. लेकिन ऐसा कर पाना शायद कुछ हद तलक ही संभव है .. । इस दिशा में किये गये प्रयास की सफलता के प्रतिशत में जाने से अच्छा होगा कि प्रयास को भी तहे दिल से सराहा जाय .. ।
